Years ago I came across this dead oak in the middle of patch of pine trees. The sunlight was shining right over the tree and it looked so magical. As I watched, I could see just how much life this dead oak was providing. Birds were living in it, plants were climbing up it and birds and insects were nibbling. It was very beautiful. I have depicted the Bittersweet or Woody Nightshade in watercolours which really draw the eye in to the beautiful shapes of the dead oak.
This is a giclée print. Printed to the highest quality on Hahnemühle German Etching paper 310gsm paper using archival inks.
This is a square image which measures 29.7cm x 29.7cm.
