Original mixed media artwork.
The image of the stag and the oak tree is an original linocut which has been carved and hand-printed by Jennifer. The oak leaves and the magpie moths are painted with watercolours on archival watercolour paper. These images are then cut out and then added to the linoprint. Jennifer slices into the linoprint to then slide the watercolour pieces in. These images are then glued into position.
This unique process enables Jennifer to combine the two mediums and give her work the same entwined feeling that nature creates.
SIZE - The paper size is 35cm x 47cm.
The frame is not included.
