Posy || Linocut and Watercolour Original

The image of the wildflower posy is an original linocut which has been carved and hand-printed by Jennifer. The delicate, purple Cuckoo flowers are painted with watercolours on archival watercolour paper. These images are then cut out and then added to the linoprint. Jennifer slices into the linoprint to then slide the watercolour pieces in. These images are then glued into position. This unique process enables Jennifer to combine the two mediums and give her work the same entwined feeling that nature creates.
SIZE - Paper size is 14.8 x 21 cm approximately A5
